We are seeking a motivated and experienced Safety & Security Professional to join our team at The Star Brisbane, a world-class entertainment hub in the heart of Queensland's capital city. Our purpose-built venue is designed to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests, and we're looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high level of vigilance to ensure the safety of patrons, employees, and company property, and take effective preventative action to mitigate risks and disturbances.
  • Monitor access into restricted areas and respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances when required.
  • Ensure all interactions and communication with patrons are polite and professional.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in Responsible Service of Alcohol, QLD Certificate 2 or 3 in Security Operations, including a Crowd Control module, and a Current Senior First Aid Certificate, including CPR module - essential
  • Current QLD Security License - essential
  • Previous experience in high volume crowd control - highly regarded
  • A high standard of grooming with a professional appearance
  • Physically capable and able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
About You:

We're looking for someone with a strong security background, keen attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. Your ability to work effectively within a large, diverse team will be essential to the success of our Security operations at The Star Brisbane.
