Join Orica's 2026 Graduate Program in Engineering to gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and global exposure in mining and infrastructure solutions.
Your role Responsibilities Participating in a structured two-year program with two 12-month rotations across Aus Pac operations.
Supporting quality improvement projects focused on product compliance and customer specifications.
Assisting in supplier management initiatives, including raw material qualification and performance monitoring.
Contributing to internal process quality control and continuous improvement activities.
Participating in training programs and cross-functional collaboration to enhance quality standards.
Supporting asset management strategies to maximize plant uptime and equipment reliability.
Performing fault finding and problem solving to resolve technical issues.
Assisting with planned and reactive maintenance, including major plant shutdowns.
Maintaining a wide range of manufacturing equipment, gaining hands-on experience across various systems.
Driving and delivering improvements in process safety risk management across multiple manufacturing sites.
Analyzing SHES data to identify material risks and program gaps, supporting sites in improving risk controls.
Developing and presenting progress reports to leadership using tools like Enablon, Power BI, and Open Text.
Participating in Hazard Studies and Bowtie assessments to support process safety systems development.
Contributing to strategic SHES projects aimed at closing performance gaps and enhancing safety culture.
About you Qualifications Is studying or has recently completed a degree in: Science (Chemistry or Materials Science), Quality or Materials Engineering related discipline.
Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering.
Chemical, Process, Safety Engineering or related discipline.
Graduation year: 2024 or 2025.
Degree level: Bachelor's, Postgraduate, or Master's.
