Bottleshop Manager

Overlander Hotel located in Mount Isa is seeking a manager to run our busy, fast-paced Bottle Shop.
Excellent large regional mining hub, with a busy airport with regular flights to Brisbane and Townsville.
Small country city with all the amenities required to live comfortably and build a new life in a unique place.
Our store features an extensive range of boutique spirits, craft beer, and wine.
We are continually up to date with market trends and innovations.
Must have a forklift license.
Must be willing to obtain one if not already held.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will have full autonomy for retail operations.
Key Responsibilities include: Stock management including ordering, rotating, and stocktaking Database administration Rosters and staff management Merchandising and stock displays Promotional organization and compliance Maintaining a strong GP% and positive growth in sales The successful candidate will have: 2 years of experience in a similar role Experience with back of house database systems (Those versed in H&L will be held in high regard) Relevant qualifications including an RSA Strong availability A strong work ethic and good time management In return, we offer: Above market remuneration An opportunity to run your own race.
