4-Year Full-Time Apprenticeship

We have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to work as a Parks & Gardens Apprentice on the grounds of a secondary high school.
This role is all about working outdoors, getting hands-on, and learning real skills.
You'll gain experience in plant care and maintenance, landscaping, pest and disease control, and a variety of other exciting duties that come with looking after large school grounds.
The best part? You'll be PAID to study a Certificate III in Parks & Gardens, a nationally recognised qualification that will set you up for a rewarding career in the horticulture industry.
Some of Your Duties Will Include:
Identifying, propagating, pruning, and caring for plants.
Preparing and maintaining lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas.
Spotting and managing pests and plant diseases.
Operating mowers, edgers, irrigation systems, and other horticulture equipment.
Following safe work practices and using equipment properly.
Using environmentally sustainable practices while working outdoors.
How to Get Started:
Hold a valid driver's licence.
Have a White Card & Working With Children's Check (WWCC)
Have a genuine interest in Parks & Gardens.
Capable of performing practical, active work.
