Entry-level Laboratory Technician role in Enfield, Sydney, supporting the Asphalt Technical Services Team with hands-on laboratory and field testing responsibilities.
Your Role Key responsibilities include: Assisting with the sampling, preparation, and testing of asphalt and related materials.
Recording and reporting test results accurately.
Performing calibrations and routine checks of laboratory equipment.
Supporting the upkeep of lab safety and quality standards.
Maintaining laboratory records and assisting with accreditation requirements.
Occasionally helping with field testing when needed.
About You The ideal candidate will demonstrate: A strong commitment to safety, quality, and learning.
Basic computer literacy and confidence using software for data entry and reporting.
Good time management and the ability to stay organised.
Willingness to work in a team and follow instructions.
Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
A positive attitude and eagerness to build a career in a technical field.
Recent graduates in science, engineering, or a related field, school leavers, or trainees with a strong interest in technical/laboratory work are encouraged to apply.
