About Your Role

Assist with the communication, wellbeing and identity of Deaf or hard of hearing (Ho H) students using Australian Sign Language (AUSLAN).
You will contribute to the implementation of a quality care and education program for the allocated group of children.
You will provide support where children experience difficulties in communication using AUSLAN.

About You:

Confident in supporting educational programs tailored to individual and group needs.
Skilled in delivering engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
Uses positive guidance to promote empathy, care, and respect.
Proactive and responsible, with a strong focus on safety and wellbeing
Previous experience in a similar role.
Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) and at least Certificate III in Auslan.
Knowledge of Early Years Learning, Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline, and National Quality Standards.
Current Blue Card (Child Related Employment)
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
