Job Description

We are looking for front-of-house staff across multiple venues, including bars, bistros, and gaming areas. Your responsibilities will include:

  • BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH CUSTOMERS AND STAFF: You will have a natural ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people and provide excellent customer service.
  • TEAMWORK AND ENTHUSIASM: As a team player, you will bring energy and enthusiasm to every shift, ensuring a positive and dynamic environment.
  • ACCURATE PROCESSING OF DOCKET: You will ensure accurate processing of dockets, including cashiering duties, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • BAR AND BISTRO SETUP: You will be responsible for setting up and resetting the bar and bistro, including function activities as required.
  • DELIVERING AMAZING SERVICE: You will deliver amazing service, providing good knowledge of Tasmanian food and beverages, and anticipating guest needs to upsell our product offering.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN FOOD AND BEVERAGE, BAR OR GAMING ENVIRONMENT: You will have previous experience in a similar role, demonstrating your ability to adapt to new environments.
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role, allowing you to effectively communicate with colleagues and customers.
  • POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND LOVE FOR HOSPITALITY: A positive attitude and passion for hospitality are key qualities we look for in our team members.
  • RElevant CERTIFICATIONS: Hold or be willing to obtain Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG), and Senior Keno certification.
  • FLEXIBILITY: Be available for flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings, to meet the demands of our business.
