The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury litigation, exceptional client management skills, and the ability to mentor junior lawyers.
This role offers an opportunity to lead complex cases, contribute to the firm's strategic growth, and play a key role in advocacy for injured clients.
Key Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload ofpersonal injury claims , including motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, public liability claims, and medical negligence cases.
Provide expert legal advice and develop tailored legal strategies for clients.
Represent clients innegotiations, mediations, and court proceedings where required.
Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, paralegals, and support staff.
Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
Engage with medical professionals, barristers, and expert witnesses to strengthen client cases.
Advocate for clients' rights in settlement conferences and litigation.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
Contribute tobusiness development , client relationship management, and firm growth initiatives.
Key Requirements Admitted as aSolicitor in Australia.
A minimum of5+ years of post-admission experience (PAE) in personal injury law .
Proven ability to manage ahigh-volume and complex caseload independently.
Strongadvocacy and negotiation skills with a track record of securing successful settlements.
Experience appearing in court and dealing with alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
Exceptional client care, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to support junior staff.
Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to the firm's growth.
Knowledge ofrelevant legislation Proficiency inlegal practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
