Data Manager, Information-as-a-Service - Enterprise Our Data Management team in Sydney is central to executing Macquarie Asset Management's data strategy.

What role will you play?As a Data Manager, you will play a key role in designing and implementing solutions to structure unstructured data, enabling effective governance and leveraging it for AI applications.
You will collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, and Analysts to enhance data governance and develop data products supporting sustainability and regulatory compliance.
Your work will contribute to Macquarie Asset Manager's global data initiatives, optimizing unstructured data for AI classification and consumption at scale.
What you offer1–2 years of relevant experience with a willingness to take on greater challenges and a clear understanding of how your work supports organizational success Knowledge of data management, governance, observability, warehousing, and business intelligence technologies, with a hands-on approach to experimenting with these products Practical experience with SQL or Python, along with a strong interest in understanding business needs and fostering cross-team relationships A proactive approach to learning, with a desire to develop skills through formal training and exposure to emerging technologies Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, essential for fostering innovation and flexibility within the team We welcome anyone inspired to build a better future with us.
