Job No.: 683029 Location: Epworth Hospital Employment Type: Part-time, fraction (0.4) - Full-time (1.0)Duration: 12-month fixed-term appointment Remuneration: $83,280 - $113,025 pa Level A (plus 17% employer superannuation) or pro-rata if part-time Deliver real-world research impact at a global top 50 university Join a collaborative team advancing concussion care through innovation Research Fellow role driving consumer-led models in brain injury care The Opportunity Join a dynamic research team at the Monash-Epworth Rehabilitation Research Centre (MERRC) working on two major MRFF-funded projects in injury rehabilitation and consumer-centred care.

One project evaluates interdisciplinary treatment for adults with persistent post-concussion symptoms, while the other co-designs a model of care with consumers to guide early concussion management in general practice.

Both aim to deliver practical solutions that improve outcomes for people with mild traumatic brain injury (TBI).

This position offers the opportunity to contribute across all stages of project delivery, including study coordination, data collection, consumer engagement and evaluation.

Responsibilities include conducting clinical interviews and focus groups with patients and clinicians, assessing the feasibility of care models and supporting the analysis and interpretation of both qualitative and quantitative data.

The role plays a key part in shaping how concussion care is delivered in primary care and rehabilitation settings across Australia while also contributing to peer-reviewed publications and knowledge translation activities.

We are seeking someone with a relevant qualification in psychology or physiotherapy, with experience in research coordination and implementation science.

Strong skills in data analysis, manuscript preparation and stakeholder engagement are essential, along with a demonstrated ability to manage competing demands in a collaborative team environment.
