What you'll be doing: We are looking for an ambitious, detailed and driven Finance Partner to join our high performing FP&A division.
The objective of the role is to provide effective planning, analysis and advice on all financial aspects within the portfolio of departments you are allocated.
With a commercial focus, this role will ensure the initiatives and processes are in place to deliver the business unit requirements & targets.
You will be required to come into our Brisbane based office at least 3 days per week (with flexible hours and the ability to work from home up to 2 days per week).
Further responsibilities: Preparation and presentation of the management packs for the portfolio Deliver budget and forecasts in a timely manner that meets strategic and financial deliverables for the portfolio Maintain a solid working relationship with Group Finance and key external stakeholders Provide commercial and strategic support to the Senior Management Team in relation to financial targets, efficiency and delivery of key business priorities Monitor and appropriately challenge senior leaders on business performance and forecasts to drive to agreed targets, reduce conservatism and increase accuracy Delivery of internal/external benchmarking & ongoing performance assessment against key competitors Provide input into scoping, analysis and sign-off of modelled financial benefits for business cases & initiatives Manage the provision of ad-hoc, value add financial analysis that ultimately drives value into the business Contribute to the development and review of all contracts to ensure financial integrity and adherence to Finance policies e.g.
payment terms, limiting risk exposure.
Where required, co-ordinate input from other relevant Finance groups You'll be great in this role if you: Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce/ Economics.
CA/ CPA preferred.
Extensive budgeting and forecasting experience Financial/Management reporting experience Strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders with experience in a business support function Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to prepare and deliver quality reports in Powerpoint A strong problem solver with attention to detail Demonstrable systems abilities and a high level of computer literacy, including Advanced Excel spread sheet and financial modelling Prior experience with FP&A and ERP systems preferred (One Stream, TM1, Oracle)We're committed to looking after you, with some of the best benefits and conditions in the industry – including (but not limited to): Discounted flights for you and your loved ones (including $1000 worth of travel credits per year)A flexible, hybrid work style.
