Join our ANZ Energy & Utilites team supporting the development and implementation of improved cash and working capital reporting, processes and controls.The opportunityDowners Energy & Utilities division have an opportunity for an experienced Finance Analyst to support the ANZ business.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will support the development and implementation of improved cash and working capital reporting, processes and controls.
This role will work across FP&A, Financial Control, Treasury and E&U BU Heads of Finance.This is a full-time permanent opportunity that will be based out of the Sydney, North Ryde office working alongside the closeknit and collaborative Finance & Accounting team.What you'll do Daily and weekly cash reporting and the tracking of cash and working capital balances across the E&U business.
Actively engage and partner with BU finance teams across Australia and New Zealand to provide insights on cash and working capital trends including risks and opportunities.
Assist with the development of reporting templates to improve the tracking, managing and forecasting of operating cash inflows, outflows, working capital balances and Capital expenditure at a contract level across the business.
Report, reconcile and provide insight on monthly operational cash, working capital balances and CAPEX to management and relevant head office finance teams What we offer Central office location, free onsite parking and close to Metro train station.

What we're looking forThe successful individual will have a strong understanding of the importance of cash and working capital management to an organisation.
Above all, you will have an optimistic attitude and the ability to work within a dynamic team environment.Tertiary level qualification in Accounting or Commerce.
4+ years' experience in accounting, treasury or business analysis within a medium or large commercial firm or accounting practice.
Proven experience in excel analysis, data consolidation and reporting, and use of reporting systems.
Prior experience in Working Capital, Cash and CAPEX reporting and forecasting is highly regarded.
Significant exposure to ERP systems (JDE, SAP or Oracle preferred).
