Travel may be required off-site across the region at varying times.
The Principal Program Officer is responsible for leading a team to manage, monitor and review projects, programs, and systems which directly support the implementation of government priorities and programs across employment and training.
About The Role As the Principal Program Officer, you will: Lead a team to manage, monitor and review projects, programs and systems that directly support the implementation of government priorities.
You will also support collaboration with industry and community stakeholders and focus on training outcomes and pathways linked to employment.
Develop, implement, and monitor a range of operational policies and practices hat promote best practice across departmental operations, including program delivery, stakeholder engagement and events.
Carry out performance reporting and analysis using contemporary recording and reporting frameworks to guide strategic decisions, resource management and local planning.
What We Are Looking For We will assess your distinct attributes to see how they align with our role's requirements: Demonstrated high-level program and project management skills, along with expert knowledge of, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of the vocational education and training (VET) sector in Queensland.
Apply highly developed conceptual, analytical, research and computer skills, as demonstrated by your ability to analyse information, data and trends; present findings through reports and presentations; and contribute to department objectives.
Build and sustain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels to ensure business objectives are achieved and performance targets are met.
