In this position based at our head office in Mulgrave, Victoria, you will join a high performing Tax team and be responsible for assisting with tax compliance and advisory work.

Having a strong focus on ensuring tax compliance at a transactional level under the Direct Sale model - Retail of the Future.
Manage all indirect tax compliance, lodgements and reporting requirements in all relevant operational jurisdictions, including GST / foreign VAT, Luxury Car Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax, Stamp Duty.
Provide tax technical input into ERP system integrity and enhancements.
Provide strategic and operational contributions towards managing, responding to, and resolving tax authority audits or risk reviews.
Strengthen the design and operating effectiveness of tax internal controls through continuous improvement initiatives.
Contributing to month end processes, particularly determination of tax accruals and other relevant tax calculations.
What you need to apply : CA or CPA qualified5 years' experience at either a professional services firm or large corporate Strong attention to detail Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Digital and data analytics are big for us, so a personal interest in this area is also an advantage.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities focused on timely delivery and quality results.
Commercial mindset with a collaborative approach to getting the best outcome aligned to compliance.
Ability to explain tax issues to non-financial stakeholders.
