Senior Claims Consultant

You will assist with complex claims and manage a portfolio of high-value motor claims.
You will : Manage end-to-end a portfolio of complex, unusual, or high-value motor claims files.
Review each claim for acceptance in line with the ICA, PDS, and prior to dispute resolution or Ombudsman determination.
Ensure each claim complies with all applicable Motor product regulations and processes.
Support customers within policy entitlements, organize repairs, and manage claims throughout their lifecycle, ensuring customers understand their entitlements and the process.
Gather additional information to validate events, underwrite claims accurately, and determine coverage.
Perform accurate reserving, validate claims, manage costs, and negotiate with stakeholders.
Conduct detailed reviews of retained claims and complete a Day-1 review for all claims.
Assess duty of care applications and apply reasonable care assessments in decision-making.
Liaise with assessing teams and suppliers to restore customers to their pre-claim condition.
Identify customer vulnerabilities and ensure support services are offered to facilitate efficient claims processing.
Knowledge and Experience : Essential: Motor Claims experience.
Highly desirable: Investigation experience.
Proven insurance claims knowledge.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to build strong relationships at all levels with internal and external stakeholders, coupled with high emotional intelligence.
Results-driven with focus on outcomes and strong negotiation skills.
