With seven offices throughout Australia, we are committed to remaining big enough to deliver, small enough to care.The Opportunity:We are seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to join our dynamic team of traffic engineers working on a strong pipeline of varied and exciting work throughout Australia.
This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart or Launceston.Managing small to large-scale projects, including proposals, tender submissions, technical documentation, scheduling, and budget management.Leading teams to deliver traffic/transport assessment projects including Traffic Impact Assessments for development applications and reviewing work of junior team members.Overseeing teams to deliver concept designs for traffic/transport related projects, scope and review work completed by designers/drafters and assist junior team members.Cultivating and sustaining relationships with our valued clients.Play an important role in shaping our traffic engineering capability and business to deliver on our 2030 strategy.What you bring:Tertiary qualification in Civil or Transport Engineering.5+ years of experience (excluding internships).Proven project management skills and experience with SIDRA Intersection software.Strong understanding of AS2890.1, AS1742.3, relevant Austroads Guides, and local Council planning codes.Leadership skills and experience mentoring junior engineers.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to adapt to changing situations and work effectively within a team.We are also interested in candidates who may bring any of the following (desirable not essential):Post graduate qualification in traffic/transport.Current Road Safety Auditor accreditation.Experience with transport components of renewable energy projects.Transport planning experience.Operational traffic modelling experience (i.e.
