The Role

Deliver high-quality anaesthetic services across a broad case mix, including elective and emergency surgery
Assist the Clinical Director with service planning, patient safety initiatives, and quality improvement
Provide education and supervision to Registrars, Provisional Fellows, PHOs, JMOs and Interns
Engage in research, audit, and multidisciplinary service development

Scope of practice
The Anaesthetics Department Provides Services For

Orthopaedics, trauma, general surgery, gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics
ENT, dental, ECT and endoscopy
Pre-assessment clinic, acute pain service, obstetric epidural service
Trauma and cardiac arrest team support

About You

Fellowship of ANZCA (FANZCA) or ANZCA SIMG assessment as Substantially Comparable
Broad experience in anaesthesia, including emergency and paediatrics
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
Strong leadership skills and commitment to patient safety and continuous improvement
Dedication to teaching and mentoring junior doctors
