Job Description The Senior Claims Consultant manages a portfolio of complex life insurance claims, ensuring compliance with TAL's claims philosophy, procedures, policy terms, and legislative requirements.
A key focus is providing a best-in-class customer and client experience, including regular communication about claim status and managing expectations to deliver quality outcomes.
Ensure compliance with TAL policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Adhere to external regulations and industry guidelines.
Maintain high-quality, accurate, and compliant interactions with Customers, Advisers, and stakeholders.
Support process improvement initiatives and embed changes within the team.
Contribute to department and company projects as needed.
Stay current with industry guidelines, processes, and policy changes.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications 1-2 years' experience in Life Insurance claims management at a similar level.
Skills include building rapport, empathy, proactive customer service, time management, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or certifications are desirable.
