This is a full-time position commencing January 2026.

The successful applicant will be able to: Lead and mentor a team of teachers, professionally developing them in alignment with the school'slearning framework.
Lead a team of Yr7-12 Maths teachers to:develop programs and teaching strategies that foster deep learning and student understanding.ensure that key deadlines and administrative responsibilities are met.provide leadership, advice and support to the Math's team to drive improvement in professional practice.contribute to regular Head of Department meetings to advance learning in the school more broadly.
Demonstrate experience teaching the Stage 6 syllabus, with an understanding of the demands of the Higher School Certificate requirements.
Motivate students to learn by demonstrating effective classroom management strategies.
Orchestrate lessons to inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
Differentiate learning to support all learners.
Engage warmly and constructively with parents.
Embed a Biblical perspective into the curriculum.
Provide timely and transformative feedback to students.
Confidently integrate ICT to enhance learning outcomes.
Work collaboratively and productively with their colleagues.
Show a commitment to improvement and professional development.
