In this role, you will be - The Principal Technical Solutions Engineer (PTSE) is the go-to expert for help.
PTSEs work directly with Pegasystems' staff, partners, and customers as they develop, test, deploy, and manage BPM (Business Process Management) and BRE (Business Rules Engine) applications throughout the entire product lifecycle.
What You'll Do at Pega : You will contribute your technical expertise and Pegasystems product knowledge to resolve complex technology challenges and help customers meet their business needs.
Who You Are : Ready to work in support coverage on a 24x7 rotational basis, including night shifts (4 days working model) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent Ability to identify, propose, and implement solutions, and work in a flexible, team environment Aptitude for quickly understanding complex technical issues, customer deployments, products, and architecture Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate and negotiate with other groups and manage conflicts Proven ability to interact directly with customers at all levels Strong customer-facing skills including expectation management, communication, and information management Effective oral and written communication skills, maintaining poise under pressure Nice to have: Experience with J2 EE Application Servers (preferably Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat) and relational databases (preferably Oracle, DB2, UDB) Troubleshooting and debugging experience is a plus What You've Accomplished : 5+ years of experience in a technical role involving Java, J2 EE, and database programming 4+ years of experience as a Java, J2 EE software developer 2+ years as a J2 EE server administrator and support for J2 EE server software with exposure to database concepts and administration Demonstrated ability to participate effectively in technical discussions Pega Offers You : Gartner-analyst acclaimed technology leadership across our product categories Continuous learning and development opportunities An innovative, inclusive, agile, flexible, and fun work environment Competitive global benefits, including pay, bonus incentives, and employee equity #J-18808-Ljbffr
