Position Details Pre-primary Education Assistant St Augustine's Primary School, Rivervale is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Pre-primary Education Assistant.
St Augustine's Primary School, Rivervale is a co-educational, single stream school from Kindergarten to Year Six located approximately 5km from the Perth CBD.
The school enjoys a close relationship with the Parish and strong support from the parent community.

Selection Criteria
We are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic person who has the necessary knowledge, skills, ability and professional desire to:
+ understand and support the Catholic tradition and ethos of our school

+ show a genuine passion for early childhood education – with relevant experience in early years settings
+ build positive and respectful relationships with students, staff and families, contributing to a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
+ maintain a warm and approachable manner with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
+ support the teacher and our school to deliver a quality learning program for all students
+ consistently demonstrate excellent communication skills
+ be a proactive contributor within our community - willing to share ideas, time and expertise for the good of all
+ demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and work collaboratively with staff and students and families.
Qualifications Required
+ Either holding or actively working towards a Diploma level qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
This may also include actively working towards the pre-requisite course to the Diploma which is the Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
+ Accreditation to Work In A Catholic School (or willingness to obtain).
