About the role The Mater Department of Physiotherapy is seeking motivated and team-oriented New Graduate Physiotherapists to join their dynamic team.
These are full-time, 2-year fixed-term contracts starting in early January 2026.
You will join a team of over 100 professionals serving five Mater South Brisbane Hospitals, including Mater Hospital Brisbane, Mater Mothers' Hospital, Mater Mothers' Private Brisbane, Mater Children's Private Brisbane, and Mater Private Rehabilitation.
The team also provides outpatient services within the Allied Health Clinic (public outpatients) and the Health & Wellness Clinic (private outpatients).
Many team members participate in research, clinical education, simulation, project work, and improvement activities.
This role requires participation in a three-month rotation at Roma Hospital in the South West Hospital and Health district, and a three-month rotation at Mater Springfield.
The successful candidate must be willing to work weekend and on-call rosters as needed.
Flexibility across Springfield, Roma, and Mater Brisbane is essential for the graduate program.
Salary: HP3.0, $39.86 per hour plus 12% superannuation.
What you'll be doing The successful applicant will manage a clinical caseload, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and provide physiotherapy care across various clinical areas, including inpatient and outpatient settings in both public and private sectors.
