They are looking to hire an energy and projects lawyer with 8+ years PQE.
Why is this a great role? As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will become an instrumental part of a small but high performing legal team that advises stakeholders across the business on a large, and varied, renewable energy portfolio.
You will gain experience across the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects and work closely with excellent lawyers.
You will work on a wide range of energy and projects matters and be capable of leading on matters to drive the growth of the business forward.
You will have experience in the full range of transactional construction contracts and ideally have worked specifically on energy infrastructure projects.
However, broader major projects experience will be considered for the right candidate.

What type of person will be successful? Admitted as a solicitor in Australia; 8+ years PQE in energy and projects matters from a leading law firm or similar in-house environment; Strong capability in drafting, reviewing and negotiation of contracts; Additional experience in project finance, land agreements and corporate matters would be beneficial but not essential; High level of attention detail; Excellent verbal communication skills with all levels of stakeholders; Commercial mindset and a drive to deliver on high standards.
