Role Overview : The e Journal Administrator / Developer supports the e Journal IT System and users under the guidance of the Technical Lead.
Responsibilities include user training, system development, troubleshooting, and ensuring seamless access for all users.
The role is based at Swartz Barracks, Oakey, QLD.
Key Responsibilities : Plan and adapt existing programs to meet user requirements, including software and hardware activities.
Perform IT system tasks within set priorities, solve familiar problems, and attend e Journal Working Groups as needed.
Ensure compliance with International Traffic in Arms and Intellectual Property constraints when supporting the Army Aviation Training Centre.
Candidate Requirements : Experience with MS Visual Studio 2017 or higher.1+ years of experience or formal qualifications in database administration with MS SQL Server 2008 or higher.2+ years of experience or formal qualifications in building and maintaining ASP.
NET MVC Web Applications using C# in Visual Studio.
Experience with HTML5 and Java Script applications.
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in teams, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
Desirable Qualifications : CERT IV in Training and Assessment or the ability to obtain.
CERT IV in Aeroskills (Avionics or Mechanical).
Experience as an e Journal Administrator or similar.
Knowledge of Aeroskills Training Package and related documentation.
Knowledge of ADF Log of Industrial Experience and Achievement.
Security Clearance : Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain Negative Vetting 1 clearance.
