Base pay range A$150.00/hr - A$160.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Experis Australia Experis has been engaged to source an experienced Solution Architect for a 12-month contract (with a 12-month extension) on a large Federal Government program, delivering secure, scalable, and enterprise-level solutions aligned with whole-of-government frameworks.
In this role, you will: Lead end-to-end solution design, from proposals and business cases to delivery.
Oversee technical architecture, application integration, and API management.
Develop functional specifications, integration designs, and operational solutions.
Guide multidisciplinary teams to achieve strategic outcomes.
Ensure solutions are cost-effective, resilient, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
Ideal Candidate: Minimum 10 years' experience as a Solution Architect.
Proven experience working within whole-of-government frameworks.
Background in large federal government agencies (preferred).my Gov platform experience (highly desirable).
Strong technical expertise across Microsoft.
NET, Dynamics 365, Share Point, SQL Server, Azure, AWS, and integration patterns.
TOGAF and/or Archi Mate certification (desirable).

Enterprise Middleware - Boomi EIPaa S (desirable).
Security - designing secure solutions in compliance with government standards.
Agile/Scrum Delivery - working within iterative, collaborative environments.
Stakeholder Engagement - high-level communication and relationship management skills.
Business Case Development - proposals, functional specifications, and architecture documentation.
Leadership & Mentoring - guiding design and development teams.
Problem-Solving - analytical thinking and solution-focused decision-making.
