Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 314 bed, 21 operating theatre facility offering the highest standard of clinical expertise and nursing care.
The hospital is co-located with the Gold Coast University Hospital and Griffith University, forming a major part of the Health and Knowledge Precinct.
Gold Coast Private offers a range of services including a 24 hour Emergency Care Centre, Intensive Care Centre, Maternity Care Centre, Paediatric Care Centre as well as providing onsite imaging, pharmacy and pathology services.
Gold Coast Private fast-tracked the completion of the Stage 2 development in 2018 to meet patient demand.
The $50 million expansion increased bed capacity and included four new operating theatres operating theatres.
The development also included a Day Surgery Centre, and a brand new 30-bed ward catering to Urology and Bariatric patients.
Site Specific Streams available RM Maternity Stream What's Included in the Graduate Program?Our 12-month program, available in full-time or part-time roles (minimum 30 hours/week), is designed to help early career nurses and midwives transition into independent practice and enhance their clinical skills.
This program is paired with an additional Consolidation Year to ensure you're well-prepared to succeed.
General, Perioperative, Mental Health, and Maternity (Registered Midwives only) graduate streams available – depending on Hospital preference.
One to three rotations within your graduate stream over the 12-month program Ongoing employment contract Benefit from supernumerary time as you ease into independent clinical practice.
