Job Title: Manager, Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Reporting Manager, Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Reporting – Long-term Contract, Attractive Rate Our client is an iconic Geelong institution employing over 250 staff for the delivery of services to its stakeholders.
In addition to receiving a fee for delivery of programs and services, the organisation receives funding to support its operation.
The finance department comprises a CFO, Finance Director, this role, Payroll Managers, Assistants, and Accounts Officers.
The main purpose of the role is to provide financial expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, business case modelling, scenario analysis, planning and projections, and financial reporting.
The Manager will also oversee the Payroll function.
Specific responsibilities include: Coordinate the annual and quarterly budgeting process with various divisions.
Model and forecast the financial outlook for the organisation overall supported by financial analyses based on key internal and external variables.
Liaise with divisional managers on monthly financial performance against budget and expense variations.
Assist in the compilation of quarterly and annual finance reports.
Business case preparation with supporting financial modelling and analysis.
Oversee the Payroll Function; supporting the Payroll Manager and Payroll Team.
Minimum Qualifications: To secure your success, you will be a finance professional who has worked in a complex dynamic environment.
Degree qualified in Accounting with CPA or CA qualifications are a pre-requisite.
