We're looking for a sharp, commercially minded lawyer to become a pivotal part of our local team.
This isn't your typical in-house role.
You'll be a true partner to the business, providing strategic legal guidance that directly shapes our commercial success and helps improve healthcare outcomes across Australia.
Based in either Adelaide or Melbourne, you'll have the autonomy to manage the Australian legal landscape while being part of a supportive global legal function.
Responsibilities Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of agreements, including complex Saa S contracts, software licensing, and vendor partnerships.
You'll ensure our contracts are not just legally sound, but commercially sharp.
Acting as a trusted advisor to all parts of the business.
You'll translate complex legal issues into clear, practical advice that helps your colleagues make informed decisions.
Managing Risk Proactively: Identifying and mitigating potential legal and regulatory risks.
You'll work closely with our commercial teams to find solutions, not just problems.
Supporting Strategic Growth: Assisting with due diligence and other legal aspects of commercial transactions as our business continues to grow in the region.
Helping to refine our legal processes, policies, and templates to build a best-in-class legal function that is agile and fit for purpose.
Qualifications You are an Australian-qualified lawyer with a current practising certificate.
You have solid experience in corporate and commercial law (in-house or private practice) and are known for your pragmatic, business-focused advice.
Tech or health sector experience is a significant plus.
A skilled negotiator and communicator, you excel at partnering with commercial teams and translating complex legal issues into clear guidance.
You are highly organised, adaptable, and thrive on managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
