Project Manager (IT Infrastructure and Security)Add expected salary to your profile for insights International tourism and transport company ASX listed with 12500+ employees globally Access to a range of Employee Benefits About the Role Kelsian Group Limited is seeking a Project Manager, to drive the delivery of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives—from cloud migration and identity management to endpoint protection and enterprise service enhancements.
You will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic priorities.
You will be at the forefront of modernising Kelsian's IT environment, contributing to our operational excellence and digital transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate and lead a portfolio of concurrent IT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects, including many that span enterprise-wide rollouts that impact multiple business units and sites.
Work closely with service providers and vendors to ensure that they deliver agreed outcomes to agreed timeframes and budgets.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure project alignment and quality outcomes.
Proactively manage project risks, issues, and vendor relationships.
Ensure seamless transition from project delivery to operational support.
Prepare regular project reports and maintain up-to-date documentation.
Support continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies.
Key Projects May Include: SD-WAN rollouts and upgrades.
Identity and access management (IAM) roadmap initiatives.
Cloud infrastructure deployments and migrations (Azure, M365).
Cybersecurity compliance uplift (e.g., ISO27001 controls).
Assist with continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies.
About You: You are an experienced project manager with a background in IT infrastructure or cybersecurity projects.
A background in hands-on IT infrastructure or cybersecurity would be highly regarded as will assist in aligning technical constraints with strategic delivery outcomes.
You are organised, solutions-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience managing IT infrastructure or security projects.
Demonstrated ability to manage 4-5 concurrent high-impact technology projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proven success in leading cross-functional teams, including technical, operation, and executive stakeholders, to ensure alignment and adoption of IT indicatives.
Strong knowledge of project management frameworks (PRINCE2, PMP).
Familiarity with ITIL, ISO27001, and modern enterprise architecture.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Certifications such as Azure Fundamentals, ITIL Foundation, or CISSP highly regarded.
