About The Role The Associate Director, Finance & Performance, oversees financial and management accounting for NSW Health Pillars or agencies.
You will be part of the Pillar Senior Finance Leadership group, providing financial advice and leadership, preparing monthly performance reports, and identifying process improvements.
You will develop and monitor financial governance frameworks to ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and NSW Health policies.
Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, customer-focused financial services.
Partner with leadership to lead financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting.
Build strategic stakeholder relationships across teams and external agencies.
Design and monitor financial and governance frameworks to meet statutory and policy requirements.
Lead the annual budgeting process aligned with strategic objectives and budget guidelines.
About You We seek motivated individuals with: A tertiary qualification in accounting or a related discipline.
Experience in financial management and statutory reporting.
Proven ability to present financial strategies to senior executives.
Membership of a recognized professional accounting body such as CPA.
