Our Local Government client is seeking a skilled business support officer to join the team on a temporary basis, working 36.25 hours per week.
This Caboolture based role will be commencing ASAP and will run until the end of September with the likelihood for extension.
You will be responsible for providing a range of administrative and customer tasks to ensure effective and efficient delivery of departmental operations to meet the needs of the local residents and ratepayers.
The key skills required include: Experience in using applications including Microsoft Suite (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Word), Adobe Pro, and Technology 1.
Strong administration support skills—managing high volumes of admin tasks such as preparing and compiling various documentation like flowcharts, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Experience with purchasing and financial workflows, including managing department purchases and stationary.
Ability to manage competing priorities and multitask effectively.
Confidently providing professional and friendly customer service to local residents and stakeholders.
The ability to quickly learn new systems.
A great attitude and team-player approach.
