Assistant Director Job Details

Role: Assistant Director Location: 12 Saunders Road, NEW GISBORNE, 3438, VIC Centre: Goodstart New Gisborne Employment Type: Full Time – Permanent Pay: $40.65 - $41.82 p/h + super (depending on qualification and experience) As the Assistant Director at Goodstart you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations.
Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.
In this role, you will: Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide About Goodstart New Gisborne: Well-established 112-place centre set on two hectares just off the Calder Freeway.
Purposefully designed indoor learning environments from Nursery to Kindergarten, featuring sensory and play-based experiences.
Expansive outdoor spaces include four play areas with large sandpits, cubby houses, and ample shade.
Strong focus on community connections, with regular local excursions and engaging incursions.
