Role
We currently have a fantastic opportunity in our Ports & Maritime team for a Senior Coastal Engineer to deliver coastal and maritime engineering services to government, port authorities and private sector clients.
This role may be based in multiple locations including Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
Responsibilities

Scoping and managing the production of metocean studies
Marina and small craft facility design
Planning and design of small-scale to large-scale coastal and maritime infrastructure for the ports, resources, water infrastructure, aquaculture and renewable energy sectors
Manage the successful delivery of coastal and maritime projects in line with HSE and QA policies and procedures, either individually or as part of a project delivery team, or by leading a project delivery team
Preparation of proposals, fee estimates and programs for consulting projects
Liaises with clients for service delivery, networking and business development
Provide technical leadership, mentoring and supervision for junior engineers
Some intra and interstate travel as required
Chartered or actively working towards chartership and applicable registration

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Civil, Structural or Maritime Engineering (or Similar)
A minimum of 6+ years' commercial experience in a similar role
Established knowledge and experience in asset management, maritime structures and port engineering
Experience managing project deliverables from start to finish; experience working on Western Australian projects would be highly desirable
Excellent interpersonal skills and superior report-writing competencies
Able to undertake some travel (domestic or international)
