About The Role
This is a full-time fixed-term position until 17 / 05 / 2026 within the Medical Imaging Department.
The role involves providing high-quality imaging services to patients and referrers, with responsibilities including performing imaging modalities as per the incumbent's current skills and expanding those skills over time.
The Grade 1 or 2 MIT will learn and apply specialized skills across modalities under the supervision of the Allied Health Manager – Medical Imaging.
The role contributes to the care of paediatric patients in diagnosis, disease monitoring, and treatment, and involves supervising intern and student MITs under the guidance of the Lead Clinical Educator – MIT.
The aim is to maintain a high standard of imaging to produce reliable, timely results that can make a difference.
Your Skills And Experience
Diploma or degree in Applied Science / Diagnostic Radiography, eligible for ASMIRT membership
Relevant experience in Medical Imaging
Current AHPRA registration
Current Victorian DH radiation license
