Your opportunity Start your accounting career in one of our core client teams : Audit & Assurance Private Business Tax & Advisory Audit & Assurance Our Audit & Assurance team plays a vital role in adding value to a client's organisation and providing confidence to investors, shareholders and the broader capital markets through the provisions of external audit and other assurance services to a wide range of clients.
Joining the Audit & Assurance team as a graduate will see you :work closely with your clients to understand how their business works and the industry in which they operate inconduct process walkthroughs to understand the "typical" flow of a transactioncarry out audit fieldwork including transaction sampling, data analysis and control testingattending a stock-take on a client site to validate the existence and completeness of recorded inventories Private Business Tax & Advisory Private businesses are the engine room of the Australian economy.
They cover all sectors, employ millions of people and are key to Australia's reputation for stable, quality goods and services both domestically and internationally.
Our Private Business Tax & Advisory team helps its private clients make the right decisions for their business, their family and for themselves with advice that is holistic, practical and commercial.
As accountants and advisors, we help mid-sized businesses and family groups manage the complexity of their taxation and financial reporting, and then look forward to the big picture – growing their business, growing their wealth and planning for their future via succession or business sale.
Our passion for understanding our clients' businesses goes beyond addressing technical accounting issues to developing actionable growth recommendations.
Joining the Private Business Tax & Advisory team as a graduate will see you :work closely with your clients to understand their business operations, structure, objectives and future plansdevelop a strong foundation in your technical accounting knowledge by working on a range of accounting and tax compliance matterspreparing financial statements and tax returnsliaising with the ATO on behalf of your clientscompiling information and supporting the preparation of work papersproviding support to the broader team on advisory engagements.
Eligibility To be eligible for our 2026 Accounting & Audit graduate opportunities, you must be :on track to complete your studies by mid-2026; or have completed a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree within the last two years; andan Australian or New Zealand Citizen, a Permanent Resident of Australia or a visa-holder (subject to some conditions).
