This is a rare opportunity to work with a major metropolitan hospital that serves a diverse and growing population, including some of the most at-risk youth in the state.
You'll be part of a well-established child and youth mental health service delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in both inpatient and community settings.
Key Responsibilities: Provide psychiatric assessment, treatment, and management for children and adolescents with complex mental health needs Collaborate with a team of psychologists, social workers, nurses, and paediatricians in a truly integrated model of care Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and trainees Engage in service development and quality improvement initiatives Participate in on-call roster and clinical governance activities as required Who We're Looking For: Fellowship of the RANZCP, with accredited subspecialty training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Current (or eligibility for) specialist registration with AHPRADemonstrated experience in working with vulnerable young people and families Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills Benefits: Work in a dynamic and purpose-driven mental health service Enjoy the work–life balance that comes with being close to some of Victoria's best beaches, cafes, and nature trails Access continuing professional development opportunities and academic support Generous public health salary packaging benefits and flexible work arrangements Ref.010725999
