ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a senior engineer to join our team.
The role will be to oversee civil engineering projects from concept design, development application, and detailed design and construction phases.
You will manage teams and liaise directly with clients to ensure project deliverables are met.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCETo apply for this role you will: Possess a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
Have a minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a local consultancy environment as a senior engineer or project manager.
Be able to lead a project team to deliver documentation for subdivisional, stormwater, water, sewer, roads and similar civil infrastructure projects.
Experience in water and sewer infrastructure will be highly regarded.
Be able to show technical leadership in providing advice to project teams.
Mentor and develop less experienced engineers and designers.
Be able to prepare proposals to secure new work.
Have experience in managing relationships with, clients, contractors, approval agencies and colleagues.
Possess excellent communication skills, particularly in the review of drawings, reports, contracts and specifications.
Experience in Business Development would be highly regarded.
