Senior Specialist Solution Architect

Red Hat Sydney seeks an experienced Open Shift Senior Specialist Solution Architect (SSA) to join its Tech Sales team.
The Senior Specialist Solution Architect is responsible for working independently to set mid-term strategic objectives aligned with company business goals.
Serving as an expert regional resource, this role provides technical and business leadership, mentors colleagues, and resolves highly complex challenges with innovative solutions that drive critical business outcomes.
Our goal is to align customer business needs with Open Shift platform capabilities through both on-site and remote engagement.
What you'll do: Ideal incumbent will proactively drive technical outcomes to meet customer objectives, in close collaboration with the entire Red Hat Sales team You are expected to deliver live demonstrations that address a customer's business challenges, facilitate discovery sessions, workshops and proof-of-concepts.
Set mid-term objectives to guide strategic customer engagements.
Lead major proofs of concept, workshops, and customer demonstrations.
Serve as a subject matter expert within the region, advising on Red Hat solutions.
Mentor colleagues within the discipline to enhance technical and strategic capabilities Drive collaboration across business units, engineering, and professional services.
A key aspect of this role is bringing insightful perspectives to customer conversation This role requires a growth mindset and commitment to professional development, certifications and learning new technologies and skills.
What you'll bring: Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills with a track record, and experience in technical sales is a strong preference.
Knowledge of cloud Platform-as-a-Service (Paa S) technologies like Red Hat Open Shift or related experience with Kubernetes deployments.
Knowledge of Linux or UNIX operating systems, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Knowledge of virtualization technologies for application deployment and operations like VMware v Sphere, KVM, etc.
Familiarity with the design and operation of medium to large-scale enterprise and cloud infrastructures.
Experience with Dev Ops tools, methodologies and best practices.
