Now Hiring: Chess Coaches - Sydney (Onsite, School-Based) Across Greater Sydney - Travel Required Must have valid Driver Licence & car | WWCC required for paid work Do you love chess? Are you confident leading a room of kids? We're looking for passionate and reliable chess coaches to join Reel Chess, Australia's fastest growing school chess programs.

What You'll Do Deliver engaging chess lessons in primary/high schools across Sydney (travel to school locations is essential)Follow a structured, easy-to-teach curriculum (all materials provided)Build relationships with students and help them grow as thinkers Submit quick feedback after each session Requirements A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)Driver Licence + own car, you'll travel to schools across Greater Sydney Availability during school hours (typically mornings or early afternoons)Confident, punctual, and professional attitude Solid understanding of chess (you don't need to be a master) (1800+ Online) (Masters preferred) What We Offer A full Coach Starter Kit (valued at $500): 10x tournament chessboards, branded badge, equipment, and training A complete Induction online + in-person)Real coaching work immediately after onboarding Pay ranges from $60 to $110 per 1-hour session, depending on class size Ongoing coaching and growth opportunities One-Time Joining Fee To ensure quality and commitment, there's a one time joining fee covering your full starter pack: Choose:$495 upfront for standard coaching ratesor $200 entry with a flexi-pay model to scale up later (no session deductions) This is a stable contractor Role This is a stable contractor role with steady work throughout the school year.
