What you will be doing as a General Manager, Cold Storage: The Warehouse Manager has general responsibility for coordinating and supervising warehouse activities on a daily basis.
The manager is responsible for staffing and scheduling to ensure the highest level of customer experience.
Goals are consistent with the organization's POI strategies.
Ensures safety of employees at all times through facility management of equipment and buildings.
Responsible for the success of the P&L for this specific Business Unit What you need to land this awesome job: Education: High School (GED) Associate's degree Preferred Experience: 5 years warehouse operations management Experience managing staffs of people License or Certification: Forklift certification required Travel requirements: Occasionally Minimum Physical requirements: Ability to endure long periods in 0 F degree temperatures in the freezer and on the docks.
Ability to stand up to 6 hours.
Occasionally lift to 50 pounds.
Minimum Behavior requirements: You must Be Humble, Stay Hungry and Live Smart A day in the life (but not limited to): Insures KPIs are met such as pallets per hour, LOS, OS&D goals Manages staff to align with facility objectives Maintains and ensures all training is completed and recorded in order to meet all aspects of BRC requirements and OSHA requirements.
Communicate across BUs to key stakeholders in order to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
