What You'll Be Doing Join WSLHD's dynamic multidisciplinary team delivering excellent, efficient and effective nursing care.
This role focuses on the Paediatric Emergency Model of Care at Blacktown Hospital ED, with flexibility to work across all areas.
Your responsibilities will also include: Providing safe, family-focused paediatric emergency care Collaborating in a busy, mixed adult and children's EDWork flexibly across all ED models when required Upholding NSW Health values and professional standards Committing to continuous learning and clinical growth How To Apply Apply online by submitting your resume and addressing the criteria listed below by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date.
Essential Criteria Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Selection Criteria Demonstrated ability to create positive relationships with patients, carers and loved ones to achieve patient empowerment, information sharing and confidence in nursing staff.
Demonstrated extensive and recent emergency nursing skills and experience Proven ability to work independently with initiative, as well as collaboratively and respectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proven commitment to continuing professional development.
Demonstrate critical thinking abilities, prioritisation and communication skills, whilst effectively following directions.
