About the OPPORTUNITIESWe have multiple vacancies for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Avionics) to join our Hawk Lead-In Fighter program within our Aerospace organisation.
As an Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you will report to the Team Leader and be responsible for scheduled servicing and unscheduled maintenance activities across various aircraft platforms.
These positions are based at RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW.
Relocation support is available for candidates outside Williamtown, Hunter, and Maitland regions.
Key RESPONSIBILITIESCarry out maintenance, inspections, and fault diagnosis on avionic systems and components across both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
Ensure all work is performed using authorized technical data, compliant with regulatory and organizational standards.
Document maintenance activities accurately, meeting certification and reporting requirements within required timeframes.
Implement engineering advice, defect reporting, maintenance deficiencies, and publication amendments as directed.
Report and escalate defects, non-conformances, or quality issues to the Team Leader according to procedures.
Perform maintenance tasks within delegated authority, maintaining high safety, quality, and compliance standards.
About YOUHold an Aircraft Maintenance Trade qualification, e.g., Cert IV Aeroskills – Avionics (Mandatory).
Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a Defence Clearance (Mandatory).
Experience or strong interest in working with Defence Military Aircraft.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
