About the Dealership : Our client has been around for over 30 years.
Having grown exponentially to 59+ dealerships located all along the East Coast of Australia – from Cairns in Far North Queensland all the way down to Hobart in Tasmania – making them Australia's largest, privately-owned, automotive dealership group.
They are currently seeking a highly experienced and proven Dealership Accountant to join their team in Hobart TAS.
Job Description : They are searching for a certified and experienced Dealership Accountant to join their finance team.
This role presents a unique opportunity for an individual with a strong financial background to take the next step in their career.
The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in their organisation, with the potential for career progression.
Key Responsibilities : Oversee financial reporting and analysis for their dealership operations.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Supervise financial transactions and daily accounting activities.
Collaborate with various departments to optimise financial processes.
Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience : CPA or CA preferred but not a requirement.
Proven experience in automotive dealership accounting.
In-depth knowledge of financial principles and practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in financial software and tools.
Highly organised and detail-oriented.
