What does the job look like?
Linfox's Intermodal business unit are currently seeking an MC driver with B-double experience to join the team located in Laverton North VIC.
You will be responsible for safely delivering various palletised freight on change over runs to Tarcutta.
As a part of this role, you will be required to operate our automatic Volvo fleet pulling taught liner and refrigerated trailers, completing up to 5/6 loads per week and roughly 890+kms per shift.
We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity available working Monday to Friday starting from 11:00pm - 11:00am.
Key areas:

Deliver palletised general freight on change over runs to Tarcutta.
Daily prestart checks, including refueling & maintaining truck interior.
Comply with Linfox's coupling & uncoupling procedures.
Ensure loads are restrained appropriately.
Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors & customers where needed.
Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus.

You can demonstrate:

Open MC licence with BFM
Experience in changeover/linehaul work.
Familiarity with Tarcutta area.
The ability to manage your fatigue.
History of safe work practices.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
