We want to share the good news of Jesus through effective evangelism, showing compassion through pastoral care activities and offering encouragement and healing as part of our ministry.The Youth Pastor RoleAs a Youth Pastor you will play an essential role in mentoring, leading and developing a Christ-centred ministry for our young people.
This includes creating a safe and fun environment where they can grow in their faith and develop relationships with those around them.Key Responsibilities:Providing spiritual and visionary leadership to the youth of the congregation.Preaching and discipleship.Leading the staff where required.About You:Has a calling to walk alongside children, youth and young adults, sharing the life changing message of Jesus.Passion for inspiring and guiding young people as they grow in their faith.Has a commitment to ongoing professional development.Willingness to embrace the church's vision and statement of belief.A strong servant heart and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with people of diverse ethnic, cultural, and professional backgrounds.Appropriate theological training.Must have the right to live and work in Australia.Hold a current Australian driver's license.Possess a Blue Card or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.Possess a National Police Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.Willing to become endorsed as a Ministering Person with Churches of Christ.Additional Information:This role is fulltime with flexible working arrangements, salary and conditions negotiable based on the recommendations of Churches of Christ.Opportunity to join the cohort of pastors from across Churches of Christ Queensland as a wider network of support.Application Process:Please send your CV and Cover Letter to Daniel Loader, Church Secretary, Toowoomba North Church of Christ at: PLEASE DO NOT APPLY VIA THE CHURCHES OF CHRIST WEBSITE - THIS IS NOT MONITORED.If you have any questions about the role, please email: and Daniel Loader, Church Secretary, Toowoomba North Church of Christ will call you at his earliest convenience.
