The role consists of 5 weekday shifts and a 1 in 4 full weekend rotation.

Who we are
Peninsula Vet Care is a group of five veterinary hospitals with an emergency and referral centre, located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula.
About the role
We're seeking an experienced veterinary nurse to work closely with our Clinic Manager and Client Services Area Leader in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our surgery team.
You'll also play a key role in mentoring junior nurses, supported by our Nurse Educator and a network of Area Leaders across the group.
Key responsibilities
Train and mentor junior nurses in line with tailored training plans
Ensure compliance with company standards of care and customer service
Manage daily schedules, including surgery allocations and staff coordination
Identify operational issues and recommend improvements
About you
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Minimum 3 years' experience as a veterinary nurse
Commitment to delivering high standards of patient and client care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for training, development, and team leadership
Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities
