About Our School Southern Cross Catholic College is a Prep to Year 12 school offering families a co-educational pathway to life-long learning.

The College was founded in 1995 following the amalgamation of the Catholic primary and secondary schools in the Moreton Bay Region.

The multi-campus College operates as the principal Catholic College on the Redcliffe peninsula.

Southern Cross Catholic College has three campuses located in Scarborough, Kippa Ring and Woody Point accommodating students in Prep to Year 6 and a fourth campus in Scarborough accommodating middle and senior years students from Year 7 to 12.

About The Opportunity Southern Cross Catholic College, Woody Point is currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Intervention Teacher who is eager to make a difference in improving student learning outcomes.

In This Position You Will Be Responsible For Creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices Collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes; and reporting these to students, parents and the community Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school and fostering a positive school culture Proactively engaging with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes Establishing positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
