The Role Working alongside our Environment and Horticulture teams, you will support a range of projects and programs aimed at improving biodiversity outcomes across SMCT's 11 sites.

This role will give you exposure to project coordination, field work, data collection and analysis, as well as community engagement.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your studies in a real-world setting, gain valuable project experience and contribute to biodiversity initiatives that make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities Assist in the delivery of biodiversity projects and programs Collect, analyse and report on biodiversity data Support planning, administration and project delivery Contribute to biodiversity awareness initiatives, including events and educational activities Assist with communications such as articles, signage and digital content Your Profile We're Looking For Someone Who Is Studying or recently completed a relevant degree (environmental science, conservation, ecology, or related discipline)Interested in biodiversity, environmental projects and community engagement Skilled in data collection and analysis with good written and verbal communication A team player who can collaborate with a variety of stakeholders Organised and eager to learn, with a positive and proactive approach A Working With Children Check will be required (we can support you to obtain this if you don't already have one).
