Position Profile: The primary responsibility of the Clinical Nurse is to manage, coordinate and deliver competent nursing care for patients, using leadership and advanced nursing skills and knowledge relevant to the practice setting.
To Be Successful You Will Have Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and experience in the delivery of evidenced based nursing care within the relevant practice setting.
Demonstrated advanced skills in planning, coordination and decision making, within the relevant practice setting.
Demonstrated well-developed team leadership and membership skills.
Demonstrated high level communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrates incorporation of quality and risk management principles within practice.
Demonstrated digital capability to enable access and use of available technology for safe patient care and information availability.
Ability to work on-call roster as required.
Current knowledge of legislative and policy obligations for Nursing practice, Equal Opportunity, Public Sector, Standards, Disability Services, Aboriginal Cultural Respect Framework and Occupational Safety and Health, and how these impact on employment and service delivery.
