Title: Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer

In this role, you'll be a key player in driving our business success and making a real impact on our infrastructure projects. While focusing primarily on our Water Market initiatives, you'll also dive into the Defence and Transport sectors.

Working hand in hand with our design and construction teams, your main goal will be to develop efficient and seamlessly integrated electrical designs for our projects. You'll take charge of creating top-notch system engineering documentation and digital engineering deliverables, ensuring everything is in top shape. Communication is key as you put together well-crafted proposals and reports that are technically sound.

As a valuable support to our sales team, you'll spot and nurture business opportunities, playing a significant role in our growth trajectory. Keeping a close eye on costs to stick to our budgets will be crucial for project success. At the same time, maintaining strong client relationships and staying updated on industry trends will be essential for delivering top-notch service.

Your expertise will be the driving force behind our projects, ensuring top-notch electrical engineering and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the design and construction teams to develop coordinated and cost-effective designs
  • Take full responsibility for coordinating and preparing quality systems engineering documentation and digital engineering deliverables
  • Prepare technically sound, well-written proposals and reports
  • Assist the sales leader in identifying and developing business opportunities
  • Monitor costs to ensure they align with approved budgets
  • Cultivate and maintain client relationships and industry knowledge

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of experience
  • RPEQ Registration
  • Design and hands-on experience in an operational environment (maintenance or construction)
  • Preferably a technical design background
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
